I don’t believe that one diet fits all, however I do believe in the importance of eating with the seasons, and as much as possible eating high quality non processed organic food, whole grains, whole food, and incorporating raw food; but because we are all different, our bodies are at different stages of their ability to break down, process, digest and assimilate the food we eat so it simply doesn’t work for all of us to aim to become raw foodists, vegan, or paleo. With my guidance we will determine what diet works best for you….

A Naturopath is a teacher and an educator, my sessions aim to empower clients to take back responsibility for their own health and rely less on the allopathic health care system; and in so doing relieving the pressure from our precious NHS, allowing it to focus on what it does best which is life saving surgery.

Naturopathy is a way of Life…

It is a natural and ancient way of healing that uses a holistic approach whereby the whole person is treated physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. My approach is also informed by modern science which is now proving the validity of the thousands of year old health care systems of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). My aim is for you to really want to maintain the changes you have made once you have successfully completed your treatment package. The changes you will make in terms of altering your lifestyle and patterns of eating will make you will feel so good that you really wont want to revert back to your old patterns…..and if you do, you will definitely feel the difference, but now, you will have the knowledge and skills with which to get yourself back on track to recoverNo treatment plan is the same as another as everyone is unique with different histories, genetics and circumstances. A Naturopath will put on their detective hat to look for the root cause of the problem by completing an in depth health and wellbeing analysis. They use various natural and ancient time tested methods and techniques to treat and heal the roots.

Taking the naturopathic route is a marathon not a sprint, the patterns of ill health you are now experiencing have taken years to evolve and so patience is required, there is now magic fix, no one pill that will heal an unhealthy body….however embarking on this journey of healing and recovery is worth it

Naturapathic Nutritionist

 My journey towards better health began in my twenties when I was experiencing gut problems, gas, bloating and high levels of stress! I also got annoying hives and cold sores on a regular basis and felt my only option was to visit the GP. I was always prescribed extremely strong antiviral medication and cream…which didn’t work and they just kept coming  back; and they never had any answers for my gut issues. Feeling frustrated by the symptoms aswell as by the GP’s inability to help me get to the root cause of the problem I decided to take matters into my own hands and went on a journey to find natural ways to heal my gut and allergies…Our bodies are often crying out to us to listen to them, they give us signs such as headaches, indigestion, heartburn, eczema, asthma, sinus issues, candida, thrush, aches and pains in the joints, cysts, fibroids, heart palpitations….and most of the time we don’t listen, or we can’t hear… we’ve been taught to ignore the signs our body is giving us and go to the GP. More often than not we leave the surgery with a prescription for a pill or some cream that just shuts our body up; it may stop the pain or to clear up the itch…but the underlying cause isn’t dealt with and just keeps reoccurring and the noise gets louder.

My Approach

The sessions I offer will address all aspects of your life… working holistically to help you identify how and where you need to detoxify your life from the food and beverages you eat and drink, the toiletries you use,  the chemicals and materials in your household that may be causing or contributing to your feelings of ill health.

The process is gentle….it may have taken 20 to 50 years to create some of the health problems we are experiencing and so it is important to introduce changes carefully and at times slowly so as not to place the body under even more stress. There is no magic pill or quick fix…beware of those out there who claim to offer this panacea!!

My aim is to be a facilitator…to empower and educate you to be able to take back control and responsibility for creating a healthy body/mind. Too often these days we are disempowered and made to feel we need to go and see the ‘experts…’ for them to tell us how to alleviate the symptoms through the use of pharmaceutical drugs which may actually reduce or eliminate the symptoms by suppressing them and driving the problem further into the body. They also tend to have side affects leading you to have to take another drug to deal with the side affect…..before we know it we may be reliant on taking numerous tablets for the rest of our life!…when often the answer may lie in cleansing the body clearing out the toxins, strengthening the immune system and healing the digestive system.


How Does It Work?

Step 1: Book a FREE 30 minute health and wellbeing review where I  can explain how I work, we can discuss your health goals and see if we are the right fit to work together.   

Step 2: The length and type of programme will be agreed. We all know that theres no quick fix to most health concerns, in order for you to make the changes you want and need, we have to work together over a period of time which is the reason why I don’t offer one off sessions. Programmes run over the course of a three month period, the frequency of sessions will depend on the level of support you decide is right for you. I offer the Gold, Platinum and Diamond programmes which start off with monthly support and for those who require more frequent support they increase to weekly. 

Step 3: We start with an initial consultation, lasting for 90 minutes, which gives us the time we need to really explore your current health concerns and goals, symptoms, medical history, family history, diet, lifestyle and stressors and to begin to identify possible root causes.   


Step 4: We will then have regular follow-up consultations, where we work through and review your personalised treatment plan, tweaking it where necessary

    Detoxifying the body is a vital part of the process. Most people have heard about the detox concept as its a hot topic on the internet, however many people have tried to detox and failed miserably because they haven’t understood that it has to be done in the correct order otherwise it will result in ‘retoxifying’ the body causing pain and discomfort and increased stress to the organism. I will gently guide you through the detox process at the right time for you, making it a seamless easy process resulting in increased vitality and much relief.  


    As a society we are living under ever increasing amounts of stress….this can be internal stress, such as repetitive negative critical thoughts we have about ourselves and others, or external stress caused by relationships, work, unemployment, fear about the environment, war etc…. Stress affects us mentally emotionally and physically causing stress hormones to be released into our bodies on an almost continual basis, depleting our adrenal system resulting in adrenal fatigue, exhaustion, depression and anxiety which are all at epidemic levels.

    Vitamins minerals supplements and herbs

    I would always prefer that we obtain sufficient vitamins and minerals, from our foods, however in a world where our soils have been depleted of minerals our fruit and vegetables have become deficient in vitamins and are lacking in nutritional value, this is not always possible so at times we do need to take some additional supplements to support us on our journey back to good health. Herbs are an incredibly powerful medicine that are an important part of the nutritional healing journey, they are natures healer. I like to incorporate herbs as much as possible in the healing process. Many herbs are adaptogens meaning that they intelligently respond to the bodies needs.

We know that there are certain food groups that are known to pile on the weight however people keep eating them as firstly they don’t know what the alternatives are or how to prepare them, and secondly these foods are highly addictive.
